Join us, if you feel called, for our
STURGEON FULL MOON COMMUNITY FIRE CEREMONY,
this SATURDAY, August 9, 2025, at 1 PM ET - 19:00 CET.
 
Our monthly Community Fire Ceremonies are both online and in person events!
We stream the event online giving both in person and online community opportunities to participate! If you want to join us in person, we gather on island Cres in Croatia! Email us at earthkeeperspirit@gmail.com if you need any support with your plans.

We gather around the fire to honor ancient traditions and open our hearts to the wisdom that emerges when we unite in ceremony.
This Saturday, we will connect to the energy of the Sturgeon Full Moon, the Ripe Berries Moon. Sturgeon is an amazing relative that lives both in fresh waters and in the mixture of fresh and salty waters of the river estuaries, and some even enter the oceans. Because they have survived over 100 million years with very little changes to their bodies, they are sometimes called living fossils. Some species grow to a size of 15 feet, almost 5 meters, and they are amazingly resilient to broad ranges of temperature and salinity. They also don’t have many predators, so they can live more than 100 years! Sturgeons migrate upstream rivers to freshwater spawning grounds. They eat by sucking prey into their mouths like a vacuum relying on a combination of smell, touch, and chemical cues. They also use electroreceptors in their heads to sense weak electrical fields to help them feed, mate, and migrate. Sturgeons are highly respected among Native peoples of the Great Lakes region in the US. They are teachers who represent depth and strength. Working with sturgeons can also teach us about determination, perseverance, knowledge, generosity, and sexuality. Sturgeon energy helps us guard against impulsiveness, arrogance, and a tendency to dominate in any scenario.
As we sit around the Sacred Fire, we will work with the Sturgeon’s teachings and connect to their energies through a shamanic journey!
Whether you join from afar or sit with us beneath the Cres sky, your presence fuels our collective intention. This is a space for sharing stories, releasing burdens, and igniting new dreams within the warmth of a Sacred circle. Bring your prayers, your gratitude, and your hopes for what you wish to transform.
